Senior Center

Background

The Eddie Dee Smith Senior Center is a senior-focused community facility located at 5888 Mission Boulevard, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509. For many years, the senior center was owned and managed by the County of Riverside. On July 1, 2020, the City of Jurupa Valley became the legal owner of the senior center facility. Currently, the senior center is managed by the Jurupa Area Recreation & Park District through a contractual agreement with the City.

Mission of the Senior Center

The primary mission of the Eddie Dee Smith Senior Center is to serve older adults of the community and provide services, information, meals and activities geared to the needs of an older adult. Our goal is to create a safe and healthy environment that will enhance the quality of life of these older adults through the collaborative efforts of the Senior Center leadership.
