Host a Grand Opening

The city of Jurupa Valley looks forward to celebrating and supporting your business!

The Economic Development team, in partnership with the Jurupa Valley Chamber of Commerce, is committed to promoting and growing our local business community. Ribbon-cutting ceremonies provide a great opportunity to introduce new businesses to the city, its residents, and visitors! We encourage all new businesses to schedule celebrations with us, to invite family and friends, and to alert local media.

The ceremony itself runs anywhere from 15-20 minutes. After the ribbon is cut and pictures are taken, the mayor or his designee gives welcoming remarks, followed by an opportunity for a business representative to speak. Ideally, it is best to work with the city before selecting your date and we kindly ask for a minimum 2-week notice before the confirmation of your date.
