Public Service Grants

Overview

On an annual basis, the City of Jurupa Valley uses a portion of the CDBG budget to fund public service grants. Public service grants are typically awarded to non-profit social service organizations in the area that provide services to Jurupa Valley residents. Services must be provided to residents that meet the low-moderate income requirements defined by the Federal government.

Application & Award Process

Application documents for grant funding are usually released in January-February every year. Interested applicants are encouraged to download all the necessary documents and make contact with City Staff if they have questions about the program. Once applications are received, City Staff and the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) formally review the submissions. The CDAC then makes a formal recommendation to the City Council for adoption.
