Homelessness
The City of Jurupa Valley has a comprehensive homelessness response program that includes outreach, case management, and temporary shelter. Over time, the City has been able to effectively mitigate homelessness in the community by delivering evidence-based solutions to those in need.
Services
To combat homelessness in the community, the City maintains a contractual partnership with Path of Life Ministries (Path of Life); a non-profit organization headquartered in nearby Riverside. Path of Life provides outreach, case management, short-term rental and utility assistance, and temporary housing for Jurupa Valley residents. To temporarily house homeless residents, the City reserves bed space at the Path of Life Shelter in Riverside. The City also manages a few apartment units in Jurupa Valley that have been temporarily situated to provide shelter.
Reporting Homeless Encampments & Potentially Illegal Activity
The City encourages residents to report homeless encampments and other disruptive activities involving homeless individuals to the City's Code Enforcement division. In most cases, the City will respond to homelessness encampments and other disruptive activities involving homeless individuals with outreach staff from Path of Life or deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Receiving Homelessness Services
If you are a Jurupa Valley resident experiencing homelessness or housing instability, we encourage you to contact Path of Life Ministries. The City's partnership with Path of Life ensures that all residents have access to important services, including temporary housing, eviction prevention, and case management services. You can also receive more information about the City's homelessness prevention program, which includes short-term rental and utility assistance.

Annual Homeless Point-In-Time Count
Thank you to everyone who volunteered for this year's Homeless Point-In-Time (PIT) Count. The count provides communities with a snapshot of the number of individuals experiencing homelessness.
